I didn't get a thorough training, they have other associates train people, they even had me train someone and I had only been there for 3 weeks
Training is passed off from management to associates. You are basically expected to teach yourself
the training is not that long.
Staff are very involved in training
At my location I received basic group training about folding and use of mobile devices. Although I work pretty often and I've been at Old Navy for about 7 months and I haven't gotten much register training but I am often asked to work register for often up to one hour. I haven't ever really gotten trained and I have to ask my manager and coworkers questions every time I am put on register.
