Olive Garden employees get a dining discount.
Food discount was amazing. Soup and salad were only 99 cents and then everything else was half off.
25 percent discount for up to 8 people
At around $17/entree, prices are too high for part time minimum wage workers in the most expensive U.S. city that were waiting tables through college. It was only after our store got Diamond status, as one of the best in the nation, that we were able to request for a reduced fee for ONLY the soups. I remember being so hungry after coming straight from class but having to wait until my break to run across the block to get a cookie from McDonald’s due to my 10 minute break time limit(so no time for hot food) and management writing people up/cutting hours if anyone ate anything(including breadsticks) without paying. Fair enough, nothing is free but the economic disparity was harsh and management did not even bat an eye at it’s “disposable” work force. I’ve worked over a decade in restaurants and most of them had a family meal. Everything is a learning experience, thanks for making me stronger.
You get discounts at other Darden restraunts which is pretty cool
they have discounts for meals and when you dine in
the best thing about the employee discount was the very cheap soup and salad deal
