    They offer insurance for health, dental and vision. OPS pays the majority of the premium. If your a 10 month employee you receive 10 sick days a year. They also give us 2 personal days a year. Paraprofessional do not work during the summer months, 2 weeks at Christmas and a week in March for spring break. We also have 7paid holidays.

    The best part about the benefits package is that you are fully vested after 5 years of service. Worst part is that you are. Not compensated for any remaining sick leave when you depart from OPS unless you are retiring.

    You do not get benefits at part-time. Once you go full-time which can take 3 to 4 yrs you can receive benefits.

    The benefits package is available when you begin employment. It is affordable and covers the entire family. The time off is great if you have children in school.

    Good benefits including health insurance, sick time, personal days, and pension plan. I also found that a discount with the cell phone provider Sprint was possible, so perhaps other cell phone providers would give you a discount if you provide proof that you work at OPS.
