“They offer insurance which is about the most I can say. I won't say that they are the best plans in the world but they covered me well enough when I've needed them.”
“I've never had any issues when I've asked to work from home for any reason. The company is pretty open to this mode of operation as long as you get your work done.”
401k is decent. Health benefits we're good. Onsite lunch daily was really good. Overall solid benefits.
Below par compared to others.
The company provides good overall benefits
no 401k match. was raised many times at all-hands, but never happened. Overall benefits good otherwise
On Fishbowl, you can share insights and advice anonymously with Ooyala employees and get real answers from people on the inside.
The best thing is the open vacation time. If you can take it which is questionable given the short-handedness of the company.
No 401k matching, subpar maternity leave policy
Insurance coverage worked well for me. I had a need for surgery while employed at Ooyala and coverage was as expected. The quality of care through the PPO was excellent. I had to pay copays and deductibles as expected. Ooyala has a 401K with limited choices, but does NOT match. Stock options were not a priority for employees below the ruling class.
Decent health, dental, and vision insurance. 401(k) with no matching. Stock options that may never be worth anything.
Best: Flexible PTO in the US Not so great: No 401K match
No 401k matching. Catered lunches, Unlimited PTO, very flexible
