At OpenMarket, we value people. We take care of our employees every way we can, with comprehensive benefits, cool perks, and fun offices.
The different benefits we offer depend on the country you’re in. But the great thing about our Amdocs connection is that we get access to the benefits packages of a much larger company.
Some of our highlights include:
401K - 3% of your base salary, requires employee to contribute a $1 for every 50 cents company matches PTO - 23 days + 1 floater (24 in total) Sick days - 15 Public holidays observed - around 7 days I guess Yes, not a typo 23 PTO + 1 floater + 15 sick days + 7 public holidays observer Transportation benefits - $200 per month Flexible work from home policy
Good coverage. Low cost to employee.
Dental insurance is not fantastic
Great PTO and sick leave policy
401k matching, low insurance premiums.
Health Insurance is really affordable, with a couple of options. 401k is 50 cents to your dollar up to 6%, which I think is pretty normal. No stock plans or anything like that, at least not at my level. Definitely no complaints though, and unlike companies I've worked for in the past the insurance options have been really stable - they don't mix them up to pinch pennies every year, make you get new cards all the time, you can pretty much just continue your coverage year to year. As someone with a couple of kids I like not having to worry about this.
The worse benefit is the vision plan which is atrocious and a complete waste of money since most Seattle eye doctors hate it and won't let you buy glasses with it. They really need to switch to a mainstream provider that is relevant to the Seattle market like VSP. The rest of the benefits are okay.
OpenMarket is able to share benefits with the larger organization Amdocs, which can be beneficial for us.
