PTO policy changed to use it or lose it and they won't pay out remaining time when you leave the company unless your state law requires it. In my opinion, since this company operates nationally and there are states that have laws that A) forbid use it or lose it policies and B) mandate payouts at termination, these benefits should extend to everyone. PTO accrual is significantly less than other healthcare employers.
I received vacation time immediately. It builds each pay period. The bad is because the job is so demanding its hard to get to use it
The PTO policy is absolutely ridiculous. Numerous employees lost many hours this past year as the time to use it came and went. Yet many are unable to use their PTO because of inadequate staffing.
All PTO is lost if the company chooses to terminate you.
Required to use it or lose it, but not able to use it due to staffing. Not able to carry any time over at all. Required to go in to the negative to use it, and submit what you will pay the company if for some reason you do not earn those hours.
Adequate, will not pay out vacation time.
