Great benefits and flexible environment.
The benefits package at Optymyze is very good. They offer health care, dental, vision, 401K, and opt in life insurance at no additional cost.
What’s good: Somewhat good amount of PTO and flexibility depending on the team, work remote is nice if you have a team which allows to take advantage of it Not so good: 401K is laughable, health insurance for family members is prohibitively expensive, low base salary (20-30% lower than market), I’ve seen leaders get angry if someone tried to negotiate a salary raise.
Health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401k, work from home, gym. Compensation in terms of salary is 25-30% lesser than the market.
No 401k match is the worst thing about the benefits package at Optymyze.
Low base salary and poor benefits.
Workplace environment is nice: free coffee, inexpensive cafe, small game room, monthly happy hours. Health insurance is not the best (though it has changed recently), 401k is standard, and vacation isn't bad (days off include company holidays). It's pretty easy to work from home if you are sick or have something to tend to so you don't use a vacation day.
Company recently "realigned" all employees into new "companies" and reduced benefits as much as possible while eliminating any sense of seniority (since all were now new to the new company).
