It is a solid, competitive package. But no one works here for the benefits- there are a hundred places you can get benefits, Origami's culture puts it at the top of the industry.
Origami offers a lot of perks (work from home, a good amount of vacation time, $50 to a gym membership per month, etc). However, the health insurance is pretty expensive, even the high deductible plan.
The company offers a variety of health, dental, and vision options. In addition, they are consistently implementing new employee benefits - most recently to include pet insurance and tuition reimbursement.
401K match, 2 health plan options, dental, (vision, STD, LTD, and life paid by employer), PTO & flexible/remote opportunities, snacks & beverages, fitness reimbursement, new tuition reimbursement policy, fantastic equipment & resources, all around great working environment as can be seen with the recent win on Inc Magazine's "Best Workplaces" award.
Origami provides full benefits that are very competitive
Benefits package is very good considering Origami is still a fairly small company. Fairly competitive standard benefits including heath, dental, 401k and match.
Best thing: Good insurance Worst thing: Only 1 option. This is a small shop, so its difficult to get options. I understand this, and am OK with it.
5% company 401k match, vested after 2 years, excellent health, vision, dental benefits. Company pays 100% for vision, STD, LTD, life insurance. While one review mentioned having the company pay more for health/dental, I pay about $1500 a year less for them than at my last employer.
Best: 401k 5% company match, free short term and long term disability insurance, free vision insurance, free life insurance, gym membership up to $600 a year Worst: I would like for the company to pay more towards employee health and dental insurance. Some is provided but not fully.
