PTO depends on how long you’ve worked there for. After 8 years in nursing, I got about 8 hours per paycheck

New team members do not acculate PTO as fast...difficult to take vacation as same time is used for short term sick time.

There is no 'paid vacation' for nurses. Paid time off is accumulated through working hours and management can take from your PDO if you call out sick (instead of just taking a 'sick' day).

The best thing is how fast you can accumulate hours towards your paid time off and can go on vacation. most company only give a week off a year but at Orlando health you can get up to a month off if you save your vacation hours.
