Training is a Minimum of 12 weeks depending on what previous experience you have with the company.
They trained you the best way they could, lots of resources.
They prepare you to do your job as best as they know-how.
Average training for a restaurant position
You will be taught by other servers which I find to be fun and personal, and is really the best way to train for such job. A server will quickly tell you the most important things to know. Those who are certified trainers at outback are typically the best servers.
The job training is necessary to perform your job adequately. There provide about a week's worth of training prepping you for everything.
Job training is cool. You train with different certified trainers for 4-5 shifts. Sometimes they tell you conflicting things which expemplofies how everyone is on a different page.
