Very pleased with the entire benefits package at Ovehread Door Corp. Includes not only medical and dental, but 401(k) with match after the first month, profit sharing after the first year, disability pay and vacation/holiday pay.
Pro- You can get benefits directly deposited from your paycheck. Cons- The benefits are pretty subpar for how large the company is. You have to either get full benefits or nothing, there is no in between as I have learned. As a veteran, I do not need health insurance as I am covered under the VA, however, when I tried to just add dental and vision through my company, I found out they will not allow it. So I spend an extra $200 on a healthcare coverage I don't necessarily need. Then there are people who have families who still cannot afford proper healthcare because of how lacking the benefits truly are. You have parents denying anesthesia at the dentist because it's not covered and they cannot afford it. For a company that prides themselves on the "Family Friendly Environment", they are far from that actuality. Let's also touch on the 401K benefits- the corporate company matches at only 10%. you do receive Paid Time Off and Vacation opportunities but you must have those hours applicable (I.E. if you miss a day because your sick, but don't have PTO time available, you will not receive PTO even with sufficient evidence from a doctor).
Generous health package and 401k plan. Not so good with the PTO or vacation days. Limited to only 2 weeks which includes sick days. Should aim for at least 3 weeks total.
PTO is good accrued by calendar years of serviced worked. Health insurance is expensive but you can complete easy health programs for a discount. out of state insurance which is kind of annoying. small 401k match. paid holidays.
No medical benefits are given by the employer. No 401k match.
401k match was competitive.
There were absolutely no benefits to working as a Customer Support Agent, unless you consider mandatory Saturdays, no 2 days off in a row (Sunday + 1 week day), and no vacation / sick days). I got yelled at on the phone when I called to say that I would be 10 minutes late because I had to take my mother-in-law to the ER, by someone who didn't even identify himself when he answered. Unprofessional.
Private insurance, goes up dramatically every year and there is a big campaign every year against choosing a PPO... they would prefer you choose HSA
Fair benefits good insurance.
Company will not match 401k and the insurance will knock down your pay.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
