The employer matches 6% of 401k which is one of the best in the market currently across entire Salt Lake City
You have to pay taxes on facilities and perks even if you don't use them
Best: - Healthcare plan is quite good and comparatively inexpensive. Overstock provides a one time contribution of 500$ to your HSA account, but the main benefit is that the plan is inexpensive - On site clinic is very convenient and inexpensive - On site cafetería with healthy options mildly subsidized - 401k with a match and immediate vesting - Dental plan the same as everywhere but quite a bit cheaper. It's actually worth paying for it - Flex schedule: Work from 8-5pm and get every other Friday off. Just like that. This benefit is amazing Worst: - PTO is slightly below average for similar companies with generous benefits. My current role starts with 15 but increases to 20 after a year. Quite frankly 20 is fine - Bonus compensation: this is closely tied to company performance which has been poor for the last year
Overstock uses Cigna which is THE worst healthcare company ever. If you ever have to have anything major covered, expect to go into serious debt by the thousands. Cignas percentage coverage is a joke. I'm in this situation currently and stuggling now to make ends meet. It will have taken 2 years to pay off what I currently owe the hospital for surgery. I am afraid to now use my insurance or go to the doctors for more than a check up.
Great benefits and great company to work for
health insurance is ok. I like the onsite clinic. They claim the cafe is a benefit and subsidized. but there's no way the meals are worth 2x what we pay (6.99 for a entree)
Great 401k match. 100% of first 6% contributed. Multiple options for healthcare and relatively low premiums. Onsite health center staffed with physician and nurse practitioner. Overall the benefits are very good. Too many perks to list here but they have checked just about every box.
I have heard that the insurance is expensive. 401K is matched up to 6% I believe. If you work at the Peace Colliseum you have daily access to health care, a fairly priced cafeteria, life coaches etc. Overstocktober (yearly concert, different artist, 2 free tickets) is so much fun as is Lagoon Day (amusement park-2 free tickets)
Benefits are good. Health insurance, Gym, Onsite Healthcare, socials are examples for benefits.
401(k) - 6% $ to $ match, health benefits, gym with trainer, Not so great health plan. Free overstock club o membership
