There are low premiums, however the maximum out of pockets are high. Current contract negotiations between insurance provider "Aetna" and ProMedica could cause loss of coverage, however HR is working on other options.
Decent compared to other employers since Obamacare was implemented. HSA offered.
Costly compared to size of company
Aetna with Baylor Healthcare for the DFW area
Average health insurance package offered
Benefits are ok nothing special
Not the lowest cost but offers wide coverage.
Have to pay $4500 out of pocket before Insurance picks up. Premiums for are high for Employee Paid Benefits. Not very Employee friendly.
Health insurance all transferred to HSA now. Definitely need to make sure everyone understands the benefits and the need to contribute. Many do not and only rely on basic health insurance leaving them to pay high deductibles.
Premiums are reasonable but very high deductible feels like you don't even have insurance since it covers so little.
