Employer Summary

O-I offers a generous, award-winning 401(k) Plan.

  • O-I will automatically contribute 3% of your base salary to the 401(k) Plan on your behalf. You do not have to contribute to the Plan to receive this benefit and it is immediately 100% vested.
  • Your investments are then matched 50% by O-I to your account. The 50% Company match is in O-I Company stock and is on your contributions of up to 10%. The maximum Company match is limited to 5% of credited earnings. You may elect to contribute more than 10% to your account on a pre-tax basis.

    The 401k is great because of the options. We have the option to choose how much to contribute and also an option with many different ways to invest.

    NY Life backed management of 401k plan. A nice option not offered by all companies was the ability to take a personal guaranteed loan out against your account.
