Time off can be used for vacation or sick time. Only allowed to carry over three days from one year to the next.

The pension plan vested after three years of employment. Very few people seemed to reach this point.

The culture at OUP is unlike any other. Your colleagues are typically friendly, competent, and dedicated toward achieving Oxford's mission.

Basic benefits. Vacation policy poor and confusing

This is a pretty standard benefits package with a few nice but random perks.

Retirement Plan is very nice with lots of options. Vacation package and Sick are separate.

Only 10 days vacation to begin, but the overall package is great.

they recently changed the benefits package to something less expensive for them that provides shoddier coverage for employees.

Health benefits are very sufficient for employees, spouses and children, but not supportive of domestic partnerships (the company chooses to tax you on their contribution as earned income). Vacation time is less than the industry standard, and changed (to a week less upon hiring) a few years ago so some people have at least a week more than other (newer) people in the same position.

They offer 401k with company match. They also have an additional retirement plan once you put in your investment years.
