In the US Offices, Health insurance is provided by UnitedHealth and coverage is weak at best. Years ago, all premiums were paid by the firm; now, premiums are paid on a sliding scale based on employee salary. There are 2 plans - High / Low, with the High covering more services. Co-Pays run on the high side from appointments to ER Visits. The prescription drug program is terrible with high deductibles. Dental plan thru Metlife, and Vision is through EyeMed are above average in coverage and benefits. No paycheck deductions for the eye plan. eye plan provides discounts on laser eye surgery. Typical life insurance plan offered. FSA account available. 401k thru Fidelity. Large list of Fidelity and non - Fidelity funds. Match is 3,000$, but only given on 12/31 of each year to employees with an active 401k plan. Tuition re-imbursement is now on a case by case basis; with limited approval of classes. Expect to pay for over half of your MBA degree. No stock purchase plan. Instead, there are trading windows when employees are allowed to buy / sell the company stock. Need permission first. Managing Directors and above will receive stock grants that vest over time. Employees and their immediate family members are not allowed to trade stocks. Firm requires all brokerage statements to be sent to compliance department (including spouse). Basic time off plan - 15 days first 3 years, then 20. Fathers get 1 week paternity leave paid. There is time off for adoptions as well. No daycare benefits or fertility assistance. But they just dedicated some space as a lactation room. No employee discount programs.
