Low Cost due to Union
PTO accrual is okay, rolls over if you don't use it but no sick time which is very weird (I am used to seeing companies provide at least 40 hours of sick time per year). Medical insurance is nothing stellar, it is the same as other large companies. 401K matching after 1 year for new employees. They don't really have any great employee discounts. You have benefits to choose from but nothing spectacular that would make the company stand out from any other in regards to their benefits package.
The salary and raise opportunities have been great, as has the performance review format. The medical insurance rates are very competitive.
Health packages are very much attractive
Competitive salary, OK health benefits, vacation/PTO/holidays are below average, 401K match is OK
The best thing about the company's benefits is that they offered 4 different options of medical plans allowing the most appropriate and affordable choice for each individual employee. There were generous incentive dollars to earn under the HSA. The worst is that they recently lowered their 401(k) match.
EXPENSIVE! the cost could be cheaper
Work environment cold in the winter hot in the summer
The experience available to obtain is the best. It would be great if this was available in many different states.
For some Union employees, you get a generous retirement and decent healthcare package. Every year they seem to slice and dice a little more healthcare away.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
