    Careful with this, they tried denying my FMLA because I was only offered 6weeks.... I fought and almost lost my job but at the end everything was cleaned up. And I returned when I initially wanted too.

    Not sure, I had a co worker once that took maternal leave. I believe she took 6 weeks off, which she was able to stack up her vacation and personal days with it. For anything longer than like 2 weeks you need manager approval.
