Terrible benefits. Health Insurance is very expensive. PTO cannot be used until after 90 days, which means if you start in Oct, Nov or December you cannot take any PTO accrued. You also cannot roll over PTO to a new calendar year, so you will have to take unpaid leave if you want to take vacation at the beginning of the year. Internal payroll systems outdated, disconnected and hard to use.
The 401k will auto-withdraw from your paychecks if you work for Pro past a certain period of time unless you state otherwise in advance. I found their health insurance plans to be expensive, so expensive I coudn't afford them. Otherwise, if they have other benefits, I never was made aware of them.
This employer pays very little toward group medical, dental, vision etc. 95% of the cost is paid by the employee which in my case is close to $14,000 per year for HMO coverage for just my wife and I. But, they get to say they offer employer based plans which is very misleading; call it disengenuius. But that’s the game now in the good ole’ US of A.
PTO is good, but could be better for employees over 10 years. Kaiser benefits are good, other plans are not and expensive. Just started 401k (up to 5% after fully vested in 5 years).
Extremely comprehensive coverage, comes with extra perks and deals for random discounts all over, and even items for employees available for good work done. Very good 401k and med/dent/vis coverage too.
Very minimal, only basic requirements like mandatory 3 days of sick per year.
Pro Unlimited does not make benefits available to full time contractors when it is mandated by MA to supply health care. They also try to change you from full to part time to avoid supplying benefits and if you ask about it, they fire you without notice. Pro coaches on site Supervisors to lie about benefits and hours per week. They write illegal employment contracts.
