Pet Insurance - Avian-Exotic Pets, Feline and Dogs - Economical & Comprehensive Medical Plans
Critical Illness and Accident Insurance
Great for Houston as cost of living is reasonable
PROS only matches 3% which is well below market rate for tech companies. Health and Vision plan is solid. Dental plan can be expanded a bit more. As of Jan 2020, there is now unlimited PTO and the US has now more holidays (previously only 5 company recognized holidays).
Best was ALL of the benefits offered. I never heard of either Pet insurance however and TTO (Trusted Time Off) for salaried employees and the option to work from home is truly appreciated due to my long commute. No negative to mention in terms of benefits.
Solid benefits package for whole family
401k, RSU awards, constant focus on improving benefits plan, social events, and candid dialogue when something is not working.
Health insurance premiums steadily increase every year to the point that covering family members is now prohibitively expensive if you go with a PPO plan. If you choose a high deductible plan (there are two), you are on the hook for pretty substantial out of pocket expenses. Either way, you lose. HR would drum their beat about how competitive the plans are but anecdotal evidence from talking with friends at other companies tells a different story. At least, they need to level with employees and not misrepresent facts. US has a major health care affordability crisis with no resolution in sight.
Starts off at 3 weeks vacation and 3 floating holidays to go with the 7 annual holidays and 5 sick days. 50% 401k matching up to the first 6% and employee stock purchase plan. Unlimited snacks and drinks in the office and there is always food everywhere. Overall benefit package is very good.
Pretty great about everything. Lots of healthy snacks and drinks
Insurance is not as good as they claim it is, and it is very expensive.
The benefits were pretty standard
