    The retirement plan is a standard 401K but they do offer a pension plan depending on when you joined.

    for those who want to stay at PG&E for long time, the retirement plan is a major benefit. There are two plans: one the best after three years and is portable (you can take it when you leave). The other is more generous, but only vests after five years, and you can't roll it into other retirement savings accounts if you do leave.
