Great benefits and lots of flexibility. Only thing lacking is 401k matching is limited to $1K match.

Comprehensive health care with medical, dental and vision. Life insurance and disability provided with good options for purchasing additional coverage. Generous time off permitted and work from home options. Very inclusive and diverse culture that offers great learning and training for employees. Would be nice if they were to increase 401K match and offer tuition reimbursement

The stock. The 401k match is very poor and maternity leave benefits are subpar compared to other Bay Area tech companies. Company is not friendly to working moms.

Best is the intent and efforts to continually improve the package for a diverse set of employees. HR has started and continues to improve flexible benefits to allow employees to choose what helps them most among a much broader range than most companies. These are good, real benefits on top of Silicon Valley standard good benefits. They try to address health, life, and wellness needs from a variety of angles, knowing that different employees care about different things. The two things that for me are worst aspects of their benefits are that they only match up to $1000 for 401k contributions and they tend to engage third party benefit companies that don't do much. Some service offerings don't deliver what they claim, and some discount programs don't even discount from SRP enough to match prices available from big stores (Walmart, Costco, etc.) But even though some of these third party programs are largely ineffective, they get points for trying. Vacations are negotiable with management. Some managers think vacations reflect a bad attitude and hurt an individual's reputation and team morale, so they don't like them. There is a new internal job mobility program to encourage employees to stay even when they outgrow their job, but some managers do everything they can to discourage employees from moving.

The 401(K) match by the company is minimal in the US - only $1K. Also, stock grants are being reduced across many of the jobs. Some with no RSU stock grants. The FTO where you don't accrue vacation time provides the company an opportunity to take advantage by not allowing normal time off that in a year. Some managers will reject time-off requests or reduce the allowed days. So, not really a FTO (free-time-off) benefit
