Health insurance, 401K, On-site care clinic, flexible schedule, adoption assistance, on-site gym and locker rooms.
Pros: 18 days paid vacation + 9 holidays to start. Company car. Cellphone, iPad, laptop and internet provided. Cons: Health insurance is higher than average and the cost is higher if you don't participate in the annual health assessment. 401k contributions are only given if the company is profitable.
Affordable, comprehensive benefits plans. Generous time-off policy! Wish the 401(k) match was guaranteed. But I understand why it isn't.
The company offers a pretty decent package for a company of this size. You get paid vacation, 401 K, you get also health insurance, I would say you pay about 30% of cost in some case which is not bad.
Benefits are good, health, 401K, short and long term disability
The best thing is that they do have 401k. The worst is that the matching is slim to nothing. I'm not sure if it is good or bad that this is a private company as well. Stock options in the company would be nice to have, especially since there is already a board of investors that are getting kick backs. In my opinion, if it was a public company, at least I could be an investor at that point and hopefully gain from company successes. I can't knock the board though because without them Parata wouldn't even be here.
Conditional matching for 401K is tough sometimes. Wellness plan is nice although can feel intrusive at times.
The benefits Cost too much
The best thing about the benefits at Parata is that they offer a great amount of PTO (18 days to start out, plus 10 holidays!) The only negative is that the healthcare is a little on the expensive side, and Cigna is kind of a pain to deal with. However, they allow you cheaper rates if you meet certain health requirements and they offer you the ability to win gift cards throughout the year for completing health challenges. I love that they place a high premium on a healthy workplace.
Worst part is Target care.
