Employer Summary

Principle Financial Group offers 401K Investments, savings, and a loan policy if needed.  Parkview has a very unique feature that most employers don’t offer with their 401(k) plans.  After you’ve worked 1,000 hours in one year, Parkview starts contributing an amount equal to 4% of your gross pay, even if you’re not contributing.  It’s like getting a 4% raise!  Parkview also starts matching half of the first 3% you contribute  at that point.  Parkview also offers free individual meetings with licensed financial professionals twice a month.  For addition information, please call Jeanne at (719) 595-7588

Parkview has a good 401k plan with a 5% matching bonus. I would call it competitive, however making changes to the balancing and funds invested is more complicated.

They match at a very generous percentage, I also like that they increase my contribution every year.

You have to wait a full year before having the option to have the employer match. Just let us match starting day 1. Even worse, if you don't stay at least 7 years, they have a percentage scale on on how much they take back of their own money, so it's not even them matching. I.e. if you stay for 2 years, you get 20% of they money they matched. If you stay 3 years you get 40% if the money they matched. etc.
