  • 401K Plan(6 comments)

It is not greater or worse than other top ten fortune five hundred companies I have worked for. I was very impressed at the organization and performance of our plan

  • Health Insurance(4 comments)

affordable, practical, variety of plan tiers to choose from. I am very happy. I have worked for a large health insurer before, and I plan here, is better reimbursement and out of pocket comparison wise.

  • Vacation & Paid Time Off(4 comments)

You can put in your request ahead of time and not get it pulled. I've worked at other organization where I was asked to change my plans.

The health insurance is poor. Very high deductibles. Great match on 401k and they do ‘shared comp’ where the employees get a percentage if the hospital does well financially.

The pay could be better, but the coworkers are great.

The benefits were very good. They offer a discount or free of charge service if you use their providers. They really care about having healthy employees. There is a gym available to all employees.

Have a limited number of physicians in some specialties to choose from.

I think the benefits package is incredible. I pay less for insurance here than I have at other employers. My out of pocket expenses is less. I appreciate the tuition reimbursement. All though attendance is very very important, if you plan in advance it makes it easier on staff and management.

The 401k is exceptional

The 401k package at Parkview is competitive. Once you are contributing they do match up to 5% (if i remember right). If you are PRN or part time, you do not qualify for the benefits. The insurance, "Parkcare Plus" is subject to fairly high copays and deductibles, a small network, and pretty high premiums. Honestly the insurance is barley worth it, but if you are full time, the hospital requires that you are covered by an insurance so Parkcare is pretty much forced down your throat unless you have other options.

The benefits are amazing since they are provided through the hospital. You get the option of vision and dental as well.
