PeaceHealth strives to inspire and develop our caregivers while creating healthier communities. Benefits play an important role in this and we work hard to make sure that our benefits reflect the needs and wants of our caregivers and their families.
We provide comprehensive healthcare coverage for caregivers and their eligible dependents. Plus we offer dental and vision coverage, wellness program, programs to manage chronic health conditions, access to employee assistance program, as well as alternative/flexible work schedules.
If you're looking for a career in health care that engages your mind as well as your heart, we encourage you to apply at PeaceHealth. These are a highlight of benefits and are subject to change. There may be some variations based on union and/or region.
Great PTO package for full and part time employees and decent medical benefits. Unfortunately, management seemed inefficient and self-serving much of the time.
Medical kept getting more expensive.
It is difficult to get hired with benefits at the Patient Access Representative position.
excellent health insurance, retirement, very good vacation and all the standard benefits in a robust health care employer package, including auto deduction for charitable giving
Good and fair benefits, including insurance, time off, retirement.
PeaceHealth continues to refuse to treat their employees as anything better than a common houseplant. Sure, they make sure we stay alive and we have a little sun and water, but more than that is pushing it. There are several unions within this company--nurses, laboratory, technologists--and each are independent of the other. The unions and employees have to pressure the company to provide benefits for all employees that it should and does for nurses (the nurses got a great contract since they've been there many years and has a large membership). Benefits have steadily decreased every year for the past 10-15 years, depending on who you talk to. They provide far less than these stellar individuals deserve. I would say the best word is sub-par or minimal as far as their overall benefits package cost to employees for what it is. Their health insurance for a family is with Aetna/Meritain and families that need this can pay well over $200/pay period (every two weeks). Other coverage is provided--dental, vision, retirement--but again they are simply sub-par for the cost. Don't worry though, upper management will make millions after their bonuses and salary, all while they cut lower-level positions. PeaceHealth used to be such a great place to work and stood for something admirable, but somewhere along the way they decided their "every touch, every time" motto was meaningless and their employees worthless. Don't work here.
Good benefits, however lots of management changes which provides for a low morale environment. Overall, decent benefits and better than average pay.
Great retirement benefits, good medical options, deductible getting higher, full compliment of benefits including vision and dental
Pto time is probably my favorite benifit
Good benefits plan, medical/dental, life insurance, 401, etc
