Team members may choose between three national medical plans offered through United Health Care (UHC). Peak partners with UHC providing the largest network of Providers and Facilities available. UHC plans consist of a Traditional Co-Pay plan for office and Specialist visits, a Hybrid Plan, a stepping stone between the Co-Pay and HSA Plan maintaining co-pays for prescriptions, and Health Savings Account Plan. The Employer contributes monthly to the employee’s HSA Savings Account. Prescription coverage is included in all medical plans.
If you choose any plan other than the high deductible plan it can be expensive. They have plans for certain locations that are better, but if you work remote and do not live near there you are not eligible for them.
They give you four options. Which is great. I love having ESA. It's kind of like having my own savings account.
Low monthly out of pocket expense and a great employer contribution to the Health Savings Account.
Great HSA plan. Deductible is very high.
Peak offers affordable health insurance
Best thing is the cost---very affordable
Too expensive, and not very good
They rolled out new benefits effective April 1st. They gave us ONE WEEK to to decide. Health benefits are terrible.
BC BS of Georgia has various deductibles and you have to pay 30% even after you meet this and the premium is expensive. Especially if you have a family.
A high deductible health plan.
