The deductibles are pretty high no matter which plan you choose. They do have an HSA program that they will also continue to, and that does help offset the deductible costs.
Most issues are covered.
Premiums based on percentage of salary but are affordable. Low deductibles and out of pocket maximums.
The expense is very low and almost free if we use the insurance in the school health center. The health center on campus is very comprehensive and high quality. There is also a big regional hospital adjacent to campus.
Great plans and options. you can change for 2 year once if you are not satisfied. all faculty and staff havve same insurance features and affordable
Low cost health benefits but limited choices. However, this is typical for higher education benefits programs. Excellent retirement options and returns.
Cost keeps going up--it used to be a great program, it gets less and less so.
Its the most comprehensive package including health, dental and vision.
HighMark is terrible. Premiums/packages are not bad, but the insurance itself is terrible. Good luck finding good doctors in the area.
The health insurance is the best I have had when compared to previous jobs. There is a copay for doctor visits but it is not a lot. All annuals are covered 100%.
