There is flexiable hours that is the best thing about the job.
Paid time off was provided via more of an honor system versus actual days by title of level of employee.
Best = Unlimited paid time off. Worst = Salary is below the market.
That it's the Lexmark benefits package
The benefits at Perceptive are above average. There are multiple high deductible health care plans to choose from. Lexmark will also contribute to your HSA if certain fitness/health achievements are made. The 401K is great. Lexmark matches 6% if the employee contributes 5% or more to their 401K. The vacation is said to be unlimited, but its truthfully around 3-4 weeks. As long as you give your manager plenty of notice, taking time off isn't an issue.
Very difficult to make anything happen in the bigger picture. The company is focused on expansion but not on infrastructure which is an accident waiting to happen.
"Unlimited vacation" - basically you do what you need to do at work and you are given the ability to balance your life. This is a nice change from having to accrue vacation days. A parking garage keeps my car safe, free soda, a cafeteria onsite - all of these things are small perks but they make a difference. 401k and health plans are competitive but nothing to write home about.
401 K Match is great. New Health Care packages are too costly.
Benefits are in line with industry expectations.
unlimited vacation time is the best, health care costs are the worst
