Paid time off after a certain amount of time and free trainings if you can get out of work.
They don’t match nor contribute to 401K
Best is the various options for different benefits, and of course the employee discount. Love the transportation matching funds.
401K retirement is good. Able to rollover.
Vision, dental, medical are all okay, but not great.
A 401k plan was offered but it took several years to get to matching and the matching seemed fairly low. The vacation and PTO were banked into one pool which equaled about 2 weeks.
no match on 401k, not great for long term employment
There's a program that you get credits for learning through the Pharmaca U. Team Member discount is 25%. Quarterly bonus.
No matching on the 401K. Healthcare is an okay price, but there are better packages out there from other companies. It is difficult sometimes to find a doctor who will accept your coverage. They have a bonus program, but it doesn't amount to much and is hard to obtain. It is only good for Pharmacy managers and store managers. They only do PTO, not vacation and sick time. It feels like it is slow to obtain, but the longer you are with them, the more PTO you obtain. You get a 25% off discount on anything in the store and you do get a lot of great samples from vendors if you ask. They say that they have an excellent training program, but they expect practitioners to do most of that research and training off the clock and after work or on their lunch.
As an integrative pharmacy with a focus on healthier wellness choices, Pharmaca offers above average benefits that include alternative care such as acupuncture, massage therapy, naturopathic docs, etc. Pharmaca also offers their employees reimbursement for education and a 25% discount on purchases within the store.
