there was a chance to win a $1000 scholarship, they let you eat for 15 minutes per shift, free food from the buffet. 10% employee discount.
There were not many benefits in this food industry. No health or dental along with time off is a pain to get okay with the store manager.
No paid anything unless you are a manager
As a crew member doubling as a high school student there wasn't really a benefits package. It's unfortunate but high school students don't need 401k as much as others do.
Did not like that there were no benefits
We could fill a tiny box with food to take home after closing but had to pay $5 and couldn't take any chicken. The worst part was having to watch so much good food get thrown away. 5-10 pizzas, chicken, dessert items all thrown away at the end of the night. Such a waste. $5 for the small box of pizza was an okay deal but seemed like taking advantage of hardworking employees earning a sliver above minimum wage when so much food was just being thrown away every single night anyway.
you get 30% of on your meal when your not at work. you only pay 2$ to eat in house...
Only covers a few basic essentials.
In order to have benefits, you need to work a certain amount of hours.
Considering I'm a part-time high school student, I don't receive many benefits besides time off. Any requested days off are usually met.
