Look consider the fact the most of the time people decide to review something, it is because they are really upset with it. Most reviews are really bias because of this. According to the votes it looks like this job is bad but I am going to give you the honest truth about working at Planet Fitness. This is a privately owned franchise so depending on who the owner is in your area will determine how strict your location is. The owner of my location I can say with certainty is fairly strict. But at the same time as long as you actually do what you are supposed to and do it right you will be ok. This is one of the few jobs that I have worked at where you will not be stereotyped based on sex, looks, or age. They will hire you if you seem like a decent worker and that is that. I guarantee you most of the people giving this job a bad review are doing so because they are lazy and had a bad experience. I got a raise after my 2nd month there and I continue to become more and more trusted everyday because when I am asked to do something I do it. It is not a hard job. You get to talk to new people everyday and you get to have fun with your coworkers. So as long as you can follow you roles as an employee and not be a lazy worker who lies about weather or not they can show up to work then you should be perfectly happy and fine working here. It does not take long to get promotions and raises.

There is health insurance but it is nothing great. I declined it and stuck with my own. Other than health insurance there is no other benefits for full time under management.

Best thing: it’s available to full time employees Worst thing: it’s expensive and employer doesn’t cover costs

There are only two benefit packages at Planet Fitness available for part time employees. A $100 monthly information call bonus and a $100 monthly bonus for selling the most black card memberships. Being part time there is a low chance to win either of these bonuses.

Never saw one, no vac or anything about insurance. The only thing you get is the black card for free.

Planet Fitness did not offer a benefits package at all. No health, life, dental insurance, no 401k, and no vacation days or leave were offered. The only benefits were a free membership with employment.
