Outstanding benefits are offered including health, dental and vision insurance, generous PTO, wellness program, health fairs, education support, 401K, and much more.
The responsible time off is nice as well as the paid holidays. They offer professional development but the immediate supervisors will decline your request stating that it is not pertinent to your current position. Health insurance is so-so. No severance when you are let go regardless of reason. Holiday party is nice but people don’t necessarily mingle. Instead, they stay with their “clicks”.
The change in healthcare provider this year has been really terrible. The other perks are great, but does not outweigh the negative impact this has had on employees.
A change to the Healthcare provider this year caused my costs to go up significantly. In order to continue seeing providers that I have been going to for years, I had to select the premium plan, essentially doubling my Medical Insurance contribution. Although there is a 401k match, it is small, lagging other companies that match much higher percentages. There are other nice perks that you can qualify for, such as tuition reimbursement and assistance toward healthy living choices like health club memberships.
Well rounded benefits package suitable to various levels of expectations
We are in a current evaluation of benefits and are focusing on adding value to employees outside of MI which I think is a great thing. Our benefits are generous and getting better. Thanks Plex.
Best: multiple health plan offerings, tuition reimbursement, flex time, unlimited time off, added extra requested things like hearing aid coverage, live well credit, 401(k) and 25% matching, work from home if needed, 10-wks paid maternity leave, free food everywhere Worst: I think some people would like to see a higher matching on the 401(k)
