This is the one of few company still offers pension plan I believe. Flexible vacation hours is great to manage your personal / family need.
PDI benefits not as good as employees get in other divisions of Praxair. There is a 401k match that eventually based on employment years and age gets to 5 percent.
401K is 100% matching up to 5% of your base salary, which is great. No stock options until you reach a high-level pay band. The health insurance is excellent if you are healthy, and terrible if you have any medical issues. In my case, we had a baby via c-section w/ no complications. Our out of pocket expense was $6,500. I've spend over $5K/year on medical (because of kids typical doc visits). Weak medical benefits. There is a good maternity/paternity program. Maybe get a gig doing Uber to pay off those medical bills! LOL
Benefits are good at praxair. I do wish the health benefits were better, however the 401K and pension are a great counter to that.
401k vacation time off is good
Great Benefits regarding to employee discount with car discounts and phone discounts. Not flexible on work from home and flexible works time.
Very good Benefits and value to employee
No worst thing about the benefits package. It is an excellent benefits package, very good insurance with Aetna. Only drawback was having to get prescription online from only one provider.
High deductible plan, like their competitors.
Typical benefit package in major chemical companies
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
