“Excellent 5% pension plan. Invested wisely and company has made "extra" deposits in the past years to assure the solvency of the plan for the future.”
The work life balance is absolutely amazing. The medical benefits are pretty good too 401k plan is great.
3 Weeks Paid Vacation to start, 401K, Pension, Flex Time, Gainshare Profit Sharing
Great Pension Plan, medical benefit cost went down this year and a variety of plans were offered. Unlimited sick time and great Paid time off amount provided.
One of the best benefits packages available including a Pension! Some people might have to look that word up because there are so few companies offering one. Not only is there a pension but also a 401k that the company puts 3% into whether or not the employee contributes. Excellent benefits.
Employee's portion of health insurance premium is very high. Co-pays for doctor appointments and prescriptions are reasonable. Coinsurance and deductibles for a short hospital stay are too high and can cause financial problems. Always a very nice birthday gift. Length of service awards do not seem fair, same gift for 5 years of service and 25 years of service. Option to work from home for some employees is great.
Retirement is excellent with both 401k and Pension. Health benefits are costly, especially when needing to insure a family.
Salary is still low. Healthcare plan costs are outrageous. They need to look at them or consider offsetting some money into a HRA. I almost did not accept the position due to the health care. I was able to get on my spouses coverage though. Not sure I would have accepted if I had to take their healthcare.
