The vacation time is the best part of the benefits package at Pride. There are no employee discounts, but with the high rate of pay, and the paid breaks it is absolutely worth it.
The Health insurance is more a discount plan than a benefit package
The best thing is being paid weekly but the worst is that the health insurance is not very good and neither is the dental and vision
They offer full health benefits, but they are REALLY expensive. Paid vacation accrues at .5 days/month, or 6days/year.
The majority of employees reside in MA, however the Company now has stores in CT. The health insurance is not widely accepted in other states, which limits choices for non MA residents. This was brought to the attention of senior management, but they didn't care.
there is no package, you get what they tell you for vacation, bonus program is a sham and there is no 401k matching and minimum holidays. no personal or sick time,
There was not much time off.
Weekly health insurance employee cost is about the average for most companies, but with a $2000 deductable .So unless you need hospital care you pretty much pay for most things yourself. Even priscriptions. The owner does not match any 401k because "I will not pay for those who contribute and those that cannot contributes get nothing" Sound like the american way to me!
