The benefits are great. The health insurance is really good and provides great support. There have been some issues with HR recently, causing some employees to have issues with their insurance. If there are any discrepancies, you can usually come to a resolution; it just depends on who you are working with at the time.
Excellent benefit package. Good choices, HMO, PPO or Kaiser. Cons - employee contribution keeps increasing
The health benefits are good but not as good as charter schools in DC that are paying 100% of benefits for the employee and dependent and 50% for the spouse.
The worst thing about the package is that you’re automatically tapped into paying union dues and your expenses for healthcare and such is higher for school based employees. The salaries need to be comparable to account for what is spent on health and other benefits.
Health insurance and working conditions
- best: the salary was within industry standards. - worst: unreliable leadership
Amazing orthodontic coverage for a great price!
It is perfect. It covers life insurance on the job and into retirement! 403K contributions is possible toward retirement.
The benefits are fantastic. Health care is phenomenal.
