The cruise benefits and 9/80 work schedule are really nice if you are able to take advantage of either.

Great benefits working for Princess Cruises. There are many shore side perks that help all employees including an employee assistance program and employee space available for everyone.

After 5 years of service, friends and family can cruise basically for free. You do not get paid sick days.

Free onboard medical services for crew members, but quality could vary depending on the crew. Lower cost of internet packages on board, but still slow and expensive by large. Free food, just don't expect great food. Free accommodation, but expect to share your room with a fellow crew member. Free travel, but work comes first so don't expect you can travel far when the ship is docked at a port. Little to no long term crew member benefits.

No perks as a junior, after promotion you can receive some extra's like pension and shorter contracts. Very hard to receive overtime, only if you reach certain amount of hrs per month. Salary is fine.
