Great place to work for. Lots of possibilities to grow professionally and intellectually.
pretty good health care, no copay for check-ups, can make a quick appointment basically any time.
Offers a lot of flexibility in taking vacation time and generous vacation time. Retirements accounts are good. Healthcare options are generally difficult to navigate.
Student health insurance included, affordable dental and vision insurance packages available.
The salary is standard for a post-doc (which means it's pretty low). Insurance was average but adequate for that time in my life. Time off was around 3 weeks per year, but there was only minimal reporting and many people worked 60-70 hour weeks and took very little time off.
Overall satisfying - lack of proper documentation of full benefits is a pain tho.
There're vacation regulations, but it feels like it doesn't mean anything. But honestly I think most of the academic institutes are pretty much the same in that manner.
Relatively affordable health care plans.
Health insurance is good. Salary is not so great
I was only a part-time employee, but the benefits still included free meals in the dining hall, in addition to an extensive medical benefits package.
