"Unlimited" PTO is nice. I appreciate not having to "take a half day" to go to the dentist, etc.

Was promised "unlimited vacation" during recruiting process, but unfortunately forgot to keep a record of that. New manager comes in, and immediately tells the team "it's not 'unlimited' -- you get two weeks." This, despite the employee handbook clearly stating that the company will not track or limit PTO. Basically it's a way to keep from having to pay out PTO when someone quits because the place is so poorly managed.

"Unlimited Vacation" is a cruel joke. You're an adult. You should be able to see why.

Open time off, no one will breathe down your neck as long as it appears that you are on the ball and hitting your numbers, which you will do if you show up and work.
