401(k) Plan and Employer Match
Employees may contribute pre-tax or post-tax dollars to a 401(k) fund. Roth 401(k) after-tax contributions are an additional option. An employer match is also available.
The company match is underwhelming and barely makes a difference
The matching is less than most other companies.
Very generous, even for lower levels.
The way the match program is setup is odd.

Very little to almost no matching
They have a competative 401k package. Employer matches the employee contribution at the end of the year. So you have to be employed for an entire year to get the employer to contribute.
401k is decent. They offer a matching of 33% of up to 6% of your contribution - essentially a net 2% matching if you contribute 6%. They also make the contribution one time - at the end of the year (as opposed to per pay period) so you miss out on significant gains
1/3 match up to 6%
