Overall good benefits package (not including salary compensation). The maternity and paternity leaves are sub-par compared to most similar companies in the industry and region. The insurance offerings are great and the employee discount portal is good. The sabbatical and extended leave programs are great and most are paid (reduced stipend, not full salary), with some stipulations. The number of paid days off (Protiviti lumps together sick days and paid days off for a total of 20 "choice time off" days per year the first year of employment) available per year is great compared to industry and regional average.
Good benefits package, health care, vacations, holidays, 401K, bonus
The best part is the employer match, is that it vests after one year of employment and is approx 33% of your contribution, up to 6%. Not sure how that compares with the market, but it's fine for me.
401k matching matching charity donations work from home flexibility
The flexibility to define your own travel schedule, working from home at times and the generous choice time off package is pretty good.
Protiviti does not offer a competitive salary compared to the Bay Area industry job market until at least the manager level
Vacation and time off are more than someone at my level can really use, but it is available if needed. The 401k match is less than ideal since you don't get your match until the year has fully closed.
401k matching is very little, and compensation is quite low
- 401K matching is less than stellar when compared to the industry standard. - The wide array of benefits is definitely eye-catching.
20 days off for Choice time off.
