Prepares you for the engineering field. Good reputation among employers. Can prettymuch get you anywhere as long as you are good.
My boss is very supportive of development opportunities and suggested a training I wouldn't have thought to ask for (expensive and a week-long).
Professional Development depends on your department and whether your dept. head is favored.
It has very productive environment for the employees to assess their skills and qualities, consider their aims in life and set goals in order to realize and maximize their potential.
They have a career center that will look at your resume and offer trial interviews. They mostly only work with undergraduates though.
They don’t offer very many options in the veterinary field. No much room for growth.
there were some progress opportunities but I was there only for a short time so i did not use them however others were progressing pretty fast
Lots of professional development seminars offered by various department. The best thing is you can take classes (building towards a degree) at reduced tution
Purdue has paid for me to go multiple conferences.
