Pros: Unlimited Time Off 100% Covered Insurance Open Work Culture All Desks are Standing Desks Your Choice of computer (OSX or Windows -> this is primarily a OSX/Mac company with no help with Windows) Friendly coworkers Product works well and great customer base Company parties (which is being limited and going away/perks are mainly for California office and not in Lehi) Free food/snacks in the break room which is a huge amount and generous Contribution for Phone plan Cons: Unlimited Time Off (this has to be mentioned to your managers and approved and isn't really unlimited, companies like it as they don't have accrued vacation time that needs to be payed out) 100% Covered Insurance - It's Cigna and it's terrible. This doesn't cover cancer excisions and they pay the monthly amount for a PPO or HDHP. The HDHP has the max out of pocket given to you but it really doesn't cover everything and it's ultimately limited in a lot of what you can do and takes months to get doctor's appointments waiting due to cancer checks or heart attack screenings/diagnosis. It also means you will pay money for the insurance as a lot of things are deemed "not covered" by the insurance so ultimately you're paying for insurance. HR - they ignore your requests for weeks and on end and or just deflect to a random document that was "already provided". Really HR has been worthless working here Management - mention any health concerns and HR will work to ultimately ignore you. Additionally they ignore any statements you make and lie or make up stuff to state they're correct even if you have information/proof to confirm otherwise Office Favorites - there's an all-star complex and these lucky people are given preference Open Work Culture - it's a lie. If you state anything and or work with people there's a back-stabbing culture with people who literally lie to retaliate against each other Work Life Balance - it's really up to you and the culture is a workaholic nature No 401k retirement Contribution for Phone plan - it's because they want you to work 24/7 on your cellphone and literally can get told how you're failing in your job duties if you don't setup your phone to be wiped by their IT department at anytime Working weekends means you have to work this time period and add it to a calendar, it's not paid if you take time off Stock is undervalued...? Ask for help and you're ignored Mention health concerns and it's ignored Working here means really a negative to your career overall
The best is the ESPP. Though the stock is not performing particularly well, the plan itself is excellent. Pure has an "Unlimited Vacation" policy. While that has become an industry standard, I think it's not as good as accrued vacation systems.
