a good health coverage and 401K plan, employee discount shop is available and is very good, paid maternity leave and supported the workload balance.
best: employees do not have to pay premiums for health benefits worst: really high deductibles after Obamacare took effect.
The 401K plan is not too bad, but the vacations days is a little less
1. 3 weeks of vacation for the first 5 years, 4 weeks between 5-10 years, and 5 weeks at 10 plus years. This can be great for long timers. 2. Sick days off. They are generally good at honoring the unlimited time. However, this is changing of late. 3. Very good about working with employees on maternity/paternity/FMLA type situations, and make a genuine effort to accommodate employees. 4. Qclubs for all interests. Whatever your interest, you will find a bunch of Qualcommers forming a club and can be very helpful in fostering a spirit of community. 5. Healthcare was "Cadillac" prior to 2016. But is still better than average. 6. 401-k matching is good. ($5000 approx, if you put in $15,000). 7. Internal transfers possible. 8. Good education benefits. (College tuition reimbursement) 9. Onsite Gym in most locations.

good stuff it was awesome
They provided me an apartment for free!!! I lived in a very nice hotel for two months!!
Company pays 100% Medical/Dental/Vision premiums for employee and dependents (except nominal fee for dependent vision). I had to take reduce one star because the coverage was much better until 2015. They shifted to high deductible plans in 2016. Now we have to deal with $3-4K deductible. But the company gave us extra money as HSA "transitional seed fund". Considering employees don't have to pay monthly premium, I think this is still a great benefit. 401k match is still decent. They ended discounted medical benefit for retirees (like COBRA but at very low premium) in 2015 too. It was for employees over 60(65?) who retired from Qualcomm with 10+ years of service. Overall, benefit declined significantly because we have activist investor on board. The management caved in a lot to please these outside short-term investors who don't really care about Qualcomm future. The company is not the same since the founder Jacobs family lost control.
Good package overall. 401k is good and 3 weeks time off to begin with
vacation: 3 weeks; 4 weeks at year 5, 5 weeks at year 10
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
