the best thing about qcc is that it is close to the city. You are only an bus ride away to the seven train which takes you to Manhattan.
QCC workers have access to a union and therefore collective bargaining. This means benefits, while not perfect, are much better than the average job.
No company perks, paid leave, benefits package, bonuses, sign on or otherwise for part time employees.
There are no benefits except you have unlimited pool access to the pool
Medical is decent (GHI) but lots of places don't accept it since their payout is so low. Vision and dental are through the union (PSC) and aren't particularly great, but certainly better than nothing. Maternity leave only applies if you've worked there a year, and isn't a full semester, so if you're part of the instructional staff, it may be a challenge to get.
Worst thing is no 401k because job is contracted.
