Accrues slowly for part timers
We are a year round, around the clock lab, so paid holidays are sparse, maybe 5 a year. But you start with ~3 weeks of vacation/sick time which becomes 4 weeks at year 4.
Wish they didn’t combine sick and time off together, but not a huge deal.
Good minimums. Not a fan that sick time and vacation time are lumped together as personal time but works better for some.
it's hard to get off because the supervisor does scheduling off based off favorites versus who put the time in first and if they want that day off.
20 days of TOP time after 1st year of employment
Very generous TOP program based off of time with the company.
Pro: 4 weeks starting PTO, cons: PTO and sick time are all in one.
First 3-4 years are 120 hours of TOP. The accrual is good, but the arranging to take time off is complicated. It's hard to get covered to take time off, even for doctor's appointments.
They give it. but you have to request that time off for like 3 months in advance. but they will lose it once in a while saying that its all ready blocked off and that you cant use it because their friend asked them. Or worse, you say your using the time off and they dont remember and you get in trouble. its all clicks and crap here, if you aint in you dont win
