  • 401K Plan  (15 comments)

“Quiktrip matches your contribution up to a certain amount. They even start a 401k for you when you become of age even if you aren’t contributing.”

OUTSTANDING pay with profit sharing can bump you up very quickly if you fit the mold and are never late or absent. Downside: If you are EVER absent or late by 5 minutes, you will never get promoted, transferred. Failing to donate enough to QT charities will get you on district managers bad side. Very little PTO at first, they make you pay for more, but they do let you pay for more. If you take your PTO, you may be punished with no promotions. Seriously, they are a pseudo military organization, they are that strict and they do not forgive.

The best thing is the 401k they are pretty good at matching you. The health insurance I personally wouldn’t use theirs.

You have to wait at least 3 months to qualify for benefits. But it's worth the wait!

Little flexibility for choice of doctors as they partner with CareATC but that means they only see QT employees making it easy to get in to see a Dr. Also it's strictly a Co-pay insurance system so everything is a flat rate depending on type of service. When I left the most expensive cost was $300 for an emergency room visit and all bills go to corporate and they deduct $50 from your weekly check until it's paid off so you literally don't even need to think about paying.
