Best is the sabbatical and time off allocated. Although I wish you could roll over 1 week. December become light staffed due to those not budgeting their time off.
Flexible work schedule, excellent time off benefits
401K matching was not typical or great to say the least, but the family focused part of the benefits Rackspace provided was very attractive. Health, Dental, Eye etc was all standard options. HR is not very great at the process of helping with decisions, but they do have an automated online program that was excellent
It's hard to navigate and changes just about every year. They've changed providers for benefits a few times over the last few years and it has not been for the better.
They were average benefits instead of being atractive.
The office space is pretty neat, and the people that you work with are pretty cool. The company grew to fast and couldn’t keep up with talent or wages compared to the industry
Rackspace has great parental leave benefits. There are also exciting offerings for folks who have been at the company for a long time, like sabbaticals. Healthcare coverage, cost, and options, as well as 401k % matching haven't been paralleled at employers I've been with since.
Great health insurance, 401k left some to be desired.
Pros: 4-5 weeks of paid time off to start. Free soda, coffee and water. Quartely team outings. Cons: Weak 401k match.
They offered 4 weeks of vacation, day one. The health insurance was extremely affordable. Life insurance was very cheap for a very high amount.
