I got the Fourth of July off and was paid my constant hourly wage, and this was much appreciated. In fact, they offered to give me this paid holiday.
The benefits package is generally good. However, there is too strong a push into the consumer directed plans when are geared toward employees in home office rather than NYC so it really ends up being a way to drive up employee costs rather than means to save everyone money.
